Who we are
Tydi is a business software product based in Lagos, Nigeria. This notice covers the Tydi early access waitlist. A full privacy policy will be published before Tydi opens.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and phone (WhatsApp) number, which you give us in the form, and whether you'd like to be considered as a founding business
- Who referred you, if you used someone's link, and basic campaign information from the link you clicked
- Anonymous visit statistics (no advertising cookies)
Why we collect it
- To keep your place on the waitlist and tell you when Tydi opens
- To contact you about Tydi by email and WhatsApp, including launch pricing
- To credit the person or partner who referred you
We rely on your consent, which you give when you join. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We use trusted service providers to run the waitlist: Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (website hosting) and Resend (email delivery). They process your information only on our instructions. Some of these providers store data outside Nigeria, with safeguards in place.
How long we keep it
Until Tydi opens and for up to 12 months after, unless you become a customer or ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (and the UK and EU GDPR where they apply), you can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or stop hearing from us. Reply to any of our emails, or reply STOP to any WhatsApp message, and we'll act on it.
Security
Your information is stored in a locked database that can only be reached by Tydi's servers, never directly from the internet.
